Local businessman Nikolai Gigov Wednesday said he is ready to build a waste recycling plant in waste-troubled Sofia if the right offer presents itself. The businessman yesterday officially acknowledged that he is involved in the waste recycling plant project under development near the village of Shishmantsi, in the Plovdiv area. Gigov said the Plovdiv municipality owns the plant building and equipment. He himself and a partner own the 24 ha site on which the plant is taking shape. Gigov claims the site can accommodate a second plant which will take care of waste produced by the capital.
