Bulgaria Property - Foreign Investment Amounts to 3.8 B Euro - imoti.net

Bulgarian National Bank registered record in foreign investment, total 3.807 billion euro that is 14.2% of GDP, for the first nine months of 2007. For the same period last year the foreign investments amounted to 2.985 billion euro.  Only 86.5 million levs (1euro = 1.95 levs) come from privatization.
Investor No 1 in Bulgaria is still the UK (15.4% of all investment) , followed by Austria and Belgium. About 1.5 billion euro have been invested in real estates and a little more than a billion in the finance sector.
